What is a wear ring?

Wear rings, or guide rings, sometimes referred to as wear bands, are an important part of hydraulic and pneumatic systems。

Wear rings play a critical role in hydraulic cylinders by absorbing side loads and preventing metal-to-metal contact between moving components. By guiding linear motion and minimizing friction, they improve system efficiency, reduce wear, and significantly extend equipment lifespan.

The Guiding/Wear ring is a roll of tape. At XHH, we produce high-performance wear rings that are strong, stable, and dependable.  can be cut to a customer-set specification length.
