Springs

Springs are critical energizing components used in sealing systems to provide consistent load, compensate for wear, and maintain reliable sealing performance under varying operating conditions. Our range includes three primary types: Cantilever (V) Springs, designed for linear load and low-to-moderate dynamic applications; Helical Springs, offering higher load capacity for static and medium-to-high pressure sealing; and Canted Coil Springs, featuring a near-constant load over a defined deflection range, ideal for dynamic sealing and EMI shielding applications. All spring types are available with flexible customization options, including a wide selection of sizes, materials, dimensions, and surface treatments, ensuring optimal compatibility with diverse industrial requirements.

Cantilever (V) Springs for Energized Seals
Cantilever V Springs (also called V Springs or Meander Springs) are metal energizing elements used in spring-energized seals. The V-shaped cantilever geometry provides a stable, near-linear load over a wide deflection range, ensuring consistent sealing force.
They are typically installed inside U-cup or PTFE seals as radial or axial energizers, compensating for wear, pressure variation, and thermal expansion. Suitable for both static and low-speed dynamic applications.
